Megan Tracy, P.A. came to Johns Creek Dermatology after graduating from Mercer University’s physician assistant program. She was driven to pursue the P.A. program because as an adolescent, she suffered various skin conditions and became known as a “frequent flyer” at her local dermatologist’s office. This led her at a young age to be interested in dermatology. It was through this experience that Megan became passionate about the importance of overall health and nutrition, and they affect the skin. She brings a holistic approach in her treatment of her patients, going well beyond solely focusing on what is visible on the skin. She relishes interacting with patients of all ages and is a firm believer that good skin care does not have to be difficult or expensive.
In her physician assistant dermatology practice at Johns Creek Dermatology, Megan is proficient in diagnosing and treating common skin conditions, including acne, eczema, rosacea, seborrheic dermatitis, psoriasis, actinic keratosis, and skin cancer. She is also experienced in performing common dermatologic procedures including shave and punch biopsies, cryotherapy, incision and drainage, and acne extractions. She is laser-focused on patient care and the patient experience.
Megan Tracy, P.A. grew up in the greater Atlanta area and received a Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Georgia. She is a current and active member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, Georgia Dermatology Physician Assistants, and the Georgia Association of Physician Assistants.
In her free time, she loves to travel and spend time with her family.
