Dr. Timani treats skin conditions such as adult and teenage acne, eczema, scalp, alopeica, dandruff, hair and nail disorders, psoriasis, age spots/brown spots, sun damage, diabetic skin disorders, and skin cancer. She offers full body skin cancer screenings as well as mole removal and localized skin cancer surgery. She also treats expecting mothers, and practices pediatric dermatology, including infants. There are many skin conditions that are exclusive to this special group of very important patients. In addition to examining the skin, we perform specialized diagnostic procedures when indicated. Our staff are fully trained in the diagnosis and treatment of a broad range of skin conditions using state of the art procedures. These procedures include skin biopsy, bacterial and fungal cultures, skin scrapings for microscopic examination, and Wood’s light examination. For patients with possible oversensitive immune response to certain substances (allergic contact dermatitis), we also conduct standard T.R.U.E. TEST® patch testing. Types of skin allergies include atopic dermatitis, hives, rashes, and others.
