Cassandra Rullman, PA-C came to Johns Creek Dermatology after graduating first in her class from the University of Maryland, Baltimore’s Physician Assistant Program. She was driven to pursue the PA program because as a child she struggled with allergies and atopic dermatitis. As an adolescent, these skin conditions continued and came to include acne as well. She was a frequent patient at dermatology offices and found dermatology to be a passion. Very early on Cassandra began gaining experience in dermatology. She completed an internship at her personal dermatology office while gaining patient care hours prior to applying to PA school. She went on to work as a medical assistant at another dermatology practice and completed two clinical rotations in dermatology while in PA school. Through these experiences, Cassandra’s passion for dermatology and the complex interactions between overall health and wellness, and their impact on the skin grew. Cassandra strives to go beyond what is visible on the skin when evaluating her patients and when determining a treatment plan. She enjoys serving patients of all ages and seeks to develop an individualized relationship with each patient.

Through her training alongside Dr. Timani, Cassandra has developed advanced knowledge in the treatment of acne. She understands that acne can impact self-esteem and can go far beyond the face alone. She views each patient as an individual and tailors her treatment plan accordingly. Cassandra enjoys presenting her patients with all the treatment options so they can make a safe and appropriate plan as a team.
